On Trend: September High Fashion Fall

For this months On Trend inspiration we obviously wanted to search for the newest coming fall trends that could find their way into the interior design world. Well, what better way to discover these trends than from the masters of design themselves, especially because September is such a big time for fashion. We searched through many of the Fall Couture and Ready To Wear runway collections of major designers to bring you this months inspiration…enjoy!

  1. A blooming designer Olivier Rousteing is now in charge of the fashion line Balmain. The intricate beading and structural elements to his designs have truly swept up the fashion world. This silver fringe tiered dress with black detailing is absolutely immaculate. This trend is beautifully mirrored in this fringe like crystal tiered chandelier that is breathtaking.

2. Marchesa launched a gorgeous 2016 pre fall runway show, that showed their true talent for intricate details. The golden beads contrasted on the stark white create almost a damask effect. These gold details are perfectly suited for tile in homes!

3. Dark blue and white patterns are a common emerging trend, with such divine intricacy, these details can be hard to match in a tile mosaic. That is why we love this Lisboa Tile stencil, that can transform your plain white tiles with the dark blue detailing from the world of fashion. Suno Fall- Lisboa Tile Stencil

4. This Valentino gold feather dress graced the runway and turned heads! Though gold painted feathers are not the easiest trend to use in a home it can be utilized in the little details of a room like this dark gold mirror to add accents and flair. Valentino Fall Ready To Wear 2016- Ebay UK

5. Lastly, we could not help but notice that in numerous fall collections from Chanel to Dior, the classic black and white color combination took center stage. One of our favorite uses of this trend however was from Stephanie Roland who completely blew us away with this full skirted two tone dress. Not to mention we found its perfect translation into interior design with this bedroom that exudes the same regal style as the dress!Stephanie Roland Fall 2016 - Decoholic
