We worked with HARTLEY and HILL DESIGN to completely renovate and redesign our kitchen last summer. They were fantastic and we cannot say enough about how wonderful they were. We met with them and described the concepts that we wanted (functional and classic, keeping in mind that we like to entertain, but we have small children and a busy family life). They put together the design and sat down with us to explain their ideas very thoroughly and also to run through the budget. I have been struggling with finding the perfect palette for my downstairs for years. We recently consulted with Melissa of Hartley and Hill Design to assist with creating a fresh new look for our 25-year-old kitchen and family room. Their vision and creativity helped to completely transform these spaces!

At the time that I hired Melissa I was heading in a completely different direction. Thankfully, I took a “time-out” and decided to consult with them. Had I continued on my path, I would have made costly mistakes and I would not have been as pleased with the outcome.

Melissa came up with a design plan that included creating visual flow from room to room by changing wall color, adding hardwood floors to both rooms, professionally refinishing the kitchen and family room cabinets, replacing cabinet hardware, and adding a unique backsplash.

Melissa work with a crew of trade professionals that we felt comfortable having in our home. They also saved me many hours of looking for tile and hardware by providing me with a few choices to choose from (all of which were amazing).
