Corners are difficult.  Every home has an akward corner that needs to be addressed.  For our client, we wanted to bring their fireplace to life and to scale in this large master bedroom en suite.  We designed layer upon layer of custom millwork to give it dimension and depth, highlighting the woven basketweave tile surround.  Because of the difficult angle on the ceiling, we chose to incorporate the charcoal hue throughout, allowing the millwork and tile to be the focal point, rather than the angle.  We took advantage of the corner and designed a space within the mantel for media compenents.  A once akward corner became the centerpiece in their master suite.
