Our monthly fashion inspiring interiors post is back! And this month we want to feature some inspiration from the UK where our design assistant has been traveling this past month. London is a center for incredible high end and street fashion. Let’s see what interior inspiration can be found from their classic style…

1. Pops of color! When people think british fashion often plaids and tweeds come to mind. People in London mix up these traditional elements by introducing fun pops of color, like this mustard/neon yellow to bring a fresh young perspective. This is also a perfect way to brighten up a classic black and white room!

   2. High end! Featured on runways here in London, this simple navy and dress is brought to life by beautiful bead work. This touch of shine and elegance, not to mention the color combination, translates beautifully to decor in this pillow.

   3. While London may give the impression of a very posh aesthetic, a lot of the fashion here is just the opposite. A  quirky and eclectic style is also very popular, and seen through the light whimsical print on this sheer long skirt. We found a lovely set of curtains with almost identical prints! These give an airy feel to the room as well as let in a lot of natural light.

   4. We couldn’t mention London fashion without a nod to the classics. This wonderful street fashion look of half plaid and black and white is a time-honored trend here. The wide pattern reminded us of this rectangle tile work in matching colors.
