This polished passage is a truly timeless entryway, befit with brass and blue hues it came out exactly as we envisioned. The full transformation included a complete stylistic makeover and a full organization plan on the utility of the room. Let’s start with the full picture…

In order to fully utilize their space we created a floor to ceiling cabinetry custom milled to the very top, to hold all their mudroom essentials.

But who said storage can’t be beautiful? We created these large cabinets in a muted teal and topped them with brass detailing to add a special touch, not your everyday mudroom!

To give a little more sophistication and polish we designed seating that was elegant and unique, while remaining cohesive with the room’s hardware. 

As for the powder room; it was a small space but most important to helping visually expand the room was lightening it up, through both the color scheme and the natural light.

The ceiling was transformed to a dark blue to add depth and dimension, with the texture of the millwork and the light allowed by this simple but classy chandelier.

Overall we wanted to transform not only this client’s passageway, but also transform the perception that a mudroom is not a space of beauty…with a little vision and the will to change, every room can be polished til’ it shines.
