Seeing the worlds of fashion and interior design function so cohesively is an absolute inspiration to us as designers. Therefore, we have decided to feature these interwoven trends monthly here on our blog! This month we focus on classic summer looks as well as some high end fashion trends and translate them stylistically into interior design…enjoy!

The first trend we noticed is a lot of white sheers being used in summertime fashion. These sheers provide an airy light feel perfect for a window treatment!  Much like this wrap front dress these curtains are designed to overlap as well and the effect is just effortless.

Our second trend we noticed in a beautiful Elie Saab runway shoot. This gorgeous gown is a lovely light muted blue draped just perfectly to allow volume at the bottom. From this we found curtains that follow the same billowy effect full of volume and depth just like the gown. These are truly elegant and gorgeous for the summertime.

The final trend we are inspired by is an absolute classic. This dark navy dress is gorgeous with the contrast of a gold brassy finished belt. Of all things, this made us designers think of cabinets! The shiny accent of the belt reminded us of the accent of hardware on a dark cabinet. You can see in this kitchen cabinetry how well it parallels the sophisticated feel of this dress.
