CONTEMPORARY COOKERY

This space speaks volumes about the eclectic, modern style preferences of our clients.  Add in a splash of tradition with the maintenance free slate flooring and you have a place for entertaining, great home cooked meals and a welcomed entrance from their beautiful backyard. We wanted the kitchen and mudroom area to become one space incorporating plenty of storage for kitchen essentials as well as pantry and pet storage needs. A table extension at the end of the island was designed to accommodate extra seating for a total of 9!  We all know everyone always gathers in the kitchen during special occasions and now our clients can cook, serve and sit together to enjoy holidays and family conversation. We gave them a place to hang their hats, take off their shoes and grab a cup of coffee from their new coffee station. It is a traditional home in southern New England and the combination of walnut, slate, blush color pickett tiles and brass accents will keep this kitchen current and classic for years to come.
