Welcome everyone to the new year! For design, this new year will bring fresh concepts and fresh perspectives. We’ve researched to find five of our favorite trends emerging in 2017! If the rest of the year looks as good as these trends we will certainly be satisfied…

1. Marble everything! From accessories to wallpaper marble has transformed from more than just a material but a design now! It has found its way into every room of the home and continues to complement each space with its beautiful design.

   2. Dark Jewel Tones! We’ve seen these dark jewel color ways introduced in so many new designs and paint/home collections for 2017 that we can’t wait to use more in our own designs. We like to balance out these dark color ways by using them in moderation and as accents, pairing them with light neutrals!

   3. Texture! We could not be more excited about this trend in particular. Texture is something we always utilize in our designs and we love the dimension it adds to rooms. See our previous blog post “It’s all about the Texture” for more tips on introducing this 2017 trend to your home!

   4. Brass galore! From fixtures to hardware, brass is back in a big way! Having just installed brass hardware in a client’s kitchen we are thrilled to see this trend take off. Brass is a favorite of ours and we can’t wait to see the new ways it is used in 2017.

   5. All things Artisan! The uniqueness of artisan products has such a great appeal. In 2017 we can expect plenty of artisan items in home decor, especially those made of natural fibers and fabrics which are very in.

   After all this insight on 2017 trends we couldn’t be more excited to start this new year with new projects. In each new trend we find such opportunity to grow as designers and to do what we love. We’re looking forward to a year of helping bring our client’s visions to life and creating spaces that inspire true comfort and beauty. 2017 here we come!
