Our clients asked for our expertise in how to update their existing mantel without changing the overall materials of the fireplace.  As shown in the before photo, the original mantel itself was an almost non-existent thin piece of stone.  We felt that it was imperative that it be a more substantial piece in the space and we designed it with many layers to compliment the existing mill work in their home.  Along with a fresh coat of paint to enhance the texture of the brick, this mantel can now welcome holiday decor galore!
